She does this in an efficient manner using her 35 years of experience which helps her to cut to the chase and not waste clients\u2019 time and money.  Sherry\u2019s goal is to help her clients achieve their goal without breaking the bank.  As a result of the Corona virus (COVID-19) and its impact on small businesses, Sherry is currently counseling her clients on the relief afforded to them under the CARES Act.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Sherry Olin Lemonick has 32 years of legal experience representing both private and public companies in all phases of their business from formation through exit. Sherry has worked with clients in many industries including healthcare, real estate, technology<strong>,\u00a0<\/strong>pharmaceuticals, marketing and advertising, retail services, restaurants and manufacturing. \u00a0 She counsels her clients on all types of corporate and financing matters including private equity and debt financing.\u00a0 Sherry has experience working with large law firms in the private sector, and has also been involved in the in-house arena having served as the Director of Legal Services for the University of Pennsylvania Health System\u2019s primary care network consisting of over 1500 employees. Here, she managed the company\u2019s legal department and utilized her legal and business expertise to advise senior management on a variety of day to day legal matters, including contracts, employment issues, strategic planning and litigation management.<\/p>\n<p>Sherry teaches Drafting Business Transactions and E Commerce at\u00a0<strong>Villanova Law School,\u00a0<\/strong>Federal Income Tax and Partnership Law for the\u00a0<strong>Pennsylvania<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Bar <\/strong>review course.\u00a0She previously\u00a0taught Venture capital and Private Equity at Drexel Law School\u00a0 and she has also served as a judge for the\u00a0<strong>National Championship Rounds<\/strong>\u00a0of the Transactional Law Meet (a competition in corporation negotiations), sponsored by The Program in Business &amp; Entrepreneurship Law at the Earl Mack School of Law at Drexel University.<\/p>\n<p>Sherry has been featured on radio talk shows regarding successful women entrepreneurs.\u00a0 She has lectured on the <strong>CARES Act<\/strong> and its impact on small businesses, the\u00a0<strong>TARP<\/strong>\u00a0laws throughout the city and\u00a0<strong>represented the United States Treasury in 23 transactions<\/strong>\u00a0relating to approximately $400 million in financing. She is a frequent lecturer\u00a0on various corporate issues affecting privately-held businesses, including Pennsylvania Bar Institute conferences in the\u00a0venture capital\u00a0arena.\u00a0 Ms. Lemonick has lectured at the\u00a0<strong>Early Stage East Conferenc<\/strong>e and the\u00a0<strong>Bio Life Conference and University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business<\/strong>\u00a0(venture capital) and at the Ihelpeducate.org\u2019s financial literacy program.\u00a0 Sherry serves on a number of local boards and committees including the Philadelphia Chapter for the Association for Corporate Growth and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.\u00a0 In addition, she has been published in the Philadelphia Business Journal.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>While many attorneys are quick to point out problems, Sherry focuses on solving problems using her financial background and strong creative skills.
